Morse Code Punctuation PracticeThe manufacturer’s date on the seed package is Feb 14, 1893, but that appears to be the date the envelope design was patented, so we can’t tell what years it was used by the seed company.

We have a few of these packages with seed still inside.

This envelope was not used for it’s intended purpose, but instead for someone to practice Morse code punctuation. No telling when this was done, but maybe by Albert J. Mangelsdorf during his pilot training during WWI or by Naval Officer John E. Mangelsdorf during WWII.
